The Mayor's Advisory Committee on Disability Issues is made up of one councillor, the Director of Cowichan Valley Independent Living Resource Centre, a number of people with different disabilities and other community members.

The job of the committee is to help council understand things from a disabled person's point of view. We suggest many things to council on topics such as safety, accessibility, sidewalks, design, playgrounds and signage.

You can contact the committee using the form below and they will bring your concern to council for you.
